Girly Bits Sea's the Day: Stormy Skies & Sailor's Delight

Good evening!  I'm feeling so happy because I have MORE Girly Bits to show you and that just makes me smile.  The 2 in this post are pretty special, they are from the Sea's The Day Collection, Pam's FIRST collection from Fall 2011!  Isn't that totally amazing?!  Well both of these fabulous shades are still available for purchase and I highly recommend that you do get them, I adored them both!

What can I say about Stormy Skies other than it's a perfect stormy sky shade in a bottle.  Pam describes Stormy Skies as a "medium blue-grey with a hint of micro glitter that shows green or gold."  Stormy Skies had a nice formula...easy to use and work with.  I'd suggest letting each coat dry completley before adding the next.  Stormy Skies dries with a bit of a grit but a layer of topcoat smoothes it out nicely.  I used 3 coats of Stormy Skies for full coverage.

Sailor's Delight is flat out amazing.  It's described as a "deep red-orange jelly with incredible gold micro-glitter."  In some lighting it is more red, in others much more orange.  My pictures in direct sun are definiltley showing the red tones.  I found the formula and application of Sailor's Delight to be... delightful!  The coverage was very nice and opaque in 3 coats.  I did use a layer of topcoat for an uber glossy look.  If you are a fan of red-orange polish you will need Sailor's Delight in your life!
